‘The wellbeing course’ teaches ways that we can all live happier, healthier lives through gaining an understanding of emotions and their impact on what we think, feel and do. Over 4 weeks the course gives an understanding of the importance of food, sleep and exercise as well as strategies for managing intense emotions and tackling negative thoughts and unhelpful behaviours. The impact of identity, confidence and communication are also explored, as well as how to make the most of relationships and recognise unhealthy relationships.
The wellbeing course is for young people aged 13 -17 and runs in locations across Cardiff and the Vale. Each group session is 2 hours.
